The plough PON-4-40 is intended for a flat ploughing of poor and medium stony soils with a specific resistance up to 0,1 MPas (1,0 kgfs/cm 2 ), ploughing depth is 27 cm. A plow work at all types of soils with humidity of the processed layer
to 25%. Height of an eddish and herbage to 25 cm.
The plough is coupled with tractors of a class 2,0 and 3,0, with an engine capacity of 120 - 150 h.p. (Belarus-1221, 1523).
