Fyodor Domotenko took part in the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Sudanese Cooperation Commission

The session takes place from January 23 till 25 in the city of Khartoum (Sudan).

Today, the General Director of MTW took part in the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Sudanese Commission for Cooperation in Sudan, witnessing the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the Khartoum Government in the field of industrial cooperation.

During the session, Fyodor Domotenko delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Belarus and expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the forum for the opportunity to present the flagship of the Belarusian agricultural machinery industry – Minsk Tractor Works.

“The Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Sudan have always developed long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, including trade and economic. Minsk Tractor Works makes a significant contribution to this cooperation. Among the countries of the African continent, the Republic of Sudan is an important market for the products of the Minsk Tractor Plant. The share of tractors manufactured by MTW on the Sudan market is 6.7% in the total fleet of agricultural tractors”, — the General Director noted, stressing that the history of the supply of tractor machinery “BELARUS ” to Sudan began in the 50s of the last century.

«The joint work currently underway will expand the possibilities of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Sudan – this is the foundation on which to build a solid future of business relationship for many years», — Fyodor Aleksandrovich summed up.

At the end of the session, its participants went to the venue of the Khartoum International Exhibition, where the opening of the Belarusian exposition was taking place at that time.

The program of the visit also includes meetings of a delegation of Belarusian industrialists with representatives of government departments of the Republic of Sudan and the executive authorities of Khartoum state interested in cooperation.
